Submissions
Get Involved!
Sketchburn 7 is on Wednesday, 28th October. Submissions for this show close on Wednesday, 30th September at 5pm.
If you're a comedy writer, performer or director who'd like to try out some sketches at the next show, we welcome submissions for all three sections:
- 📚 The Readings: staged readings of brand-new sketch scripts
- 🎬 The Rough Cuts: screenings of rough cuts still being edited
- 🍿 The Showcase: screenings of finished sketches, ready to go!
(And we're always looking for new cast members too!)
We currently prioritise filmmakers and teams who can produce their own sketches. This means you've either filmed your own sketches before, or you're an experienced sketch writer or performer who wants to film something for the first time. (And that doesn't mean it has to be fancy; sketches shot on phones are very welcome!)
But if you're not in that camp, you're still very welcome to submit – and I also heartily recommend getting in touch with our friends at Next Level Sketch 🥳
